Parker GlobalCore Group of Hoses Just Got Better with Two Great Additions

On July 1, 2024, Parker Fluid Connector Group unveiled exciting updates to the renowned GlobalCore collection of hoses.

Parker GlobalCore is a set of ISO spec constant-pressure hoses that aims to streamline the hose selection and assembly process for manufacturers and MRO organizations.

By offering hoses ranging from 1,000 PSI to 6,000 PSI, color-coded according to their pressure ratings, GlobalCore simplifies the hose selection process for a wide range of common applications.

777 Series Hose is Now Part of GlobalCore

The first addition to GlobalCore is the 777 Series hose. It is a compact spiral 4,000 psi hose featuring a reduced diameter, lighter weight, and greater flexibility compared to other 4,000 psi hoses. It complies with the ISO 18752 CC rating and performs up to 257°F. It is engineered to work with Parker’s 43 Series fittings to fabricate 777 Series hose assemblies. The advantage of using 43 Series fittings is the availability of hundreds of end configurations to meet every application and plumbing challenge.

The 777 series hose will replace the 722 series hose with Standard, Tough, and SuperTough covers. The 722LT series hose will still be available. To give you plenty of time to convert to the new 777 series, you can order the 722, 722TC, and 722ST series hoses until 3/1/2025. Introducing a New Impact-Resistant CP Hose Cover

The second addition is a new Critical Protection (CP) hose cover, which is now available on select GlobalCore hoses. The CP cover sets a new standard for preventing hose failure due to damage to the hose cover. It significantly increases impact resistance in addition to the already impressive abrasion resistance. With the same abrasion resistance as the Parker SuperTough cover, it is more than five times more resistant to impact than the Standard Cover, Tough Cover, or SuperTough cover, ensuring the durability of your assemblies. 

Parker hoses with abrasion and impact-resistant covers offer a longer working life without the need for hose sleeves and guards, which can make routing difficult.

Parker 777 Series Hose

The GlobalCore™ 777 Hose from the Hose Products Division of Parker Hannifin is a one of a kind 4,000 psi hose. The 777 has a reduced outside diameter (O.D.), is lighter weight, and has greater flexibility than other 4,000 psi hoses. This makes the assembly and installation of the hose easier with less wear and tear on your operators.

The 777 doesn’t sacrifice performance to get you these great benefits. The hose is rated to ISO 18752 CC performance at up to 257°F.  Qualified with 43 Series fittings, this hose/fitting combination will exceed your needs, providing you with hundreds of fitting options to meet every application and plumbing challenges.

White Paper: An Alternative Standard for Hydraulic Hoses

Parker GlobalCore is a group of six constant-pressure hoses, with lay lines color-coded by the working pressure rating: green for 1,000 PSI, white for 3,000 PSI, gray for 4,000 PSI, red for 5,000 PSI, and yellow for 6,000 PSI rating.

All hoses feature a reduced OD and small minimum bend radius for easy routing. They also come in a choice of covers: Tough Cover (TC), super Tough Cover (ST), and now the impact-resistant Critical Cover (CT).
